*whew*
We almost made it through the entire holiday lighting season without a single day of snow. And what fun would that be?

This year I added LED C-9s on ground stakes bordering some of the flower beds. This morning’s snow was enough to completely cover the faceted bulb caps, which is a neat effect. Back before LED lights, the C-9s burned hot enough to melt cups out of the snow resulting in a sort of canned up-light effect. The LEDs read more like an embedded light path sort of thing.

Even the multi-color LED C-9s on the house get a bit buried.

We get to enter the new year with the magic of snow-covered festive bling.
Happiest of New Years to all of you from our little wabi-sabi cottage!
