There are three distinct whites in LED lighting: pure, warm, and cool. This is the first time I have ever used more than one in the same place.

I wouldn’t call it intentional. The faceted C9 LEDs in any decent bulb count are pricey, and not often on the shelves when the post sales hit seventy-five percent.

Last year, I found three one hundred bulb strands for pennies. Not all sections were lighting, but I channelled my mom and checked each strand bulb by bulb and got everything working.

Current plans are leaning towards finding cool-white basic button LED strands post-holiday and swapping out bulbs.

The old blue rope lights aren’t the new vibrant blue, but I missed the swirling pattern I did years ago. I’ll add red/blue/green ropes to the post-holiday wish list…
