the first year with our little hobbit house is almost complete. the fit is superb, the house is as comfortable as it is worn-out, much like my husband and myself.

there is beauty to be found in the broken bits of life, hence the identity change of this blog. I have long related to the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi, the beauty of imperfection and impermanence.

building a beautiful home from thrift store finds and ReStore materials is a good fit for a broken-and-patched-again couple.
I am becoming whole in my brokenness, and I welcome it.
cheers to the wabi-sabi life!
