I have been pitting holiday break time toward the upstairs bedroom, which currently functions as closet and storage.
While it isn’t a new additional to the room’s organization, I consider it a cause for celebration whenever I get our socks paired, rolled, and stowed in their proper home.
The home:
that allowed for a single layer
without huge wasted space
was from the Alex line at IKEA.
Pictured above is four units, double-stacked and side-by-side, with the casters removed from the upper units.
I’ve had them for over ten years now, and they have served their function well, with drawer dividers of corrugated plastic and heavy art paper.
