day 19: a light easy day

I kept today light due to the heat.

In the morning, I watered everything new, mulched the root bed, and I deadheaded the two native wildflower bed.

This evening, I mulched the newer peony bed, and trimmed back some euonymus. I also sat back and enjoyed it all a bit…

the second peony bed: including the frilly pink and/or mystery peony from my sister and the yellow peony boight on clearance last year…
wild star of bethlehem: they came with the property and have taken over some spot, but they aren’t in the dog’s fenceline, so we’ll enjoy them for now…
